Frequently Asked Questions
We specialise in kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and full-home renovations across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
We also take on carpentry work, rental property upgrades, and small commercial fit-outs.
Every project is unique, but our residential renovations typically range from $10,000 to $200,000+, depending on size, materials, and scope.
A typical bathroom renovation usually costs between $10,000 and $15,000, plus surface materials.
A typical kitchen renovation usually costs between $15,000 and $25,000, which includes the cabinetry and benchtop, plus surface materials.
We define surface materials as the visible finishes and fittings that most clients like to choose themselves — such as tiles, vanities, mirrors, toilets, bathtubs, mixers, shower fittings, kitchen appliances, and splashback tiles.
This allows you to express your own style while we focus on the structure, quality, and workmanship underneath.
We always provide transparent quotes and detailed explanations so there are no hidden costs or surprises along the way.
A registered builder is officially recognised by the Building Practitioners Commission (BPC) and must meet strict standards of skill, experience, and insurance coverage.
Using a registered builder ensures:
Your project is covered by builder’s warranty insurance (for eligible jobs)
All work complies with Australian Building Codes and safety standards
You receive official compliance certificates for plumbing and electrical work
You’re protected under consumer and building contract laws
Unregistered individuals often make big promises, but because they are not recognised by the BPC, there is no regulatory body to take swift action if things go wrong.
They may take deposits and disappear, perform poor-quality or unsafe work, or refuse to fix defects — leaving homeowners with no protection, no recourse, and potentially higher repair costs later.
Working with a registered builder means your project is done legally, safely, and with accountability from start to finish.
A bathroom renovation usually takes around 4 weeks, and a kitchen renovation around 3 weeks.
However, when multiple areas (such as bathroom + kitchen + laundry) are done together, several trades can work in sequence — often reducing the total project time significantly.
We provide a clear schedule before work begins and keep you updated throughout.
